Parson House Outdoor Pursuits Centre

Outdoor pursuits is one of the fastest growth areas in the leisure industry. Thousands of people take to the great outdoors in England, which has countryside ideal for every type of outdoor pursuit, from climbing to caving, and kayaking to mountain biking.
 

Parson House Outdoor Pursuit Centre is dedicated to providing a safe environment for outdoor activities to take place in. Our instructors are fully qualified and have a combined excellence in a number of outdoor activities with a great amount of practical experience in each of them. The outdoors can be dangerous, which is part of the attraction, so safety aspects are always emphasised.
 

So whether you are age 7 years or 77, you can enjoy our courses with confidence and a great deal of enjoyment. Parson House is set in the heart of the Peak District National Park, on Burbage Moor. Surrounded by breath taking views and beautiful countryside the ideal place to participate in outdoor activities.

From the minute you book with us we will make sure your weekend or day is an enjoyable experience, choose from a variety of activities with qualified outdoor instructors, we can organise everything you require, if you want an action packed weekend or just to hire the centre and do your ‘own thing’ is fine by us.
 

We have had fancy dress stag and hen courses, we have had live bands in the evening, we have had quiet week ends (not many!) whatever you want to do we can organise it for you.
 

All you have to do is ring or email with your date in mind, we then reserve this for 2 weeks, after which we require a deposit. The remainder is due on your arrival day.
 

The centre has 30 beds with en-suite facilities, drying rooms, large dining room and kitchen (fully equipped), tv room, games room, sauna available to chill out in, excellent facilities for all, nearest pub is 5 mins walk, nearest village 3 miles and Sheffield city centre is 8 miles.
 

Activities:canoring, caving, climbing,abseiling, obstacle course, weaselling,rock hopping,orirnteering, hill walking , indoor climbing wall and more.
 

Our fully equipped stores means you just need to bring the clothes you have and we provide all the specialist equipment.
