Tying the Nott is a wedding fair for the unique, quirky, colourful and creative. Based in the heart of Nottingham in an inspiring but not stereotypical venue. Tying the Nott combines the expertise of hand picked suppliers who offer a range of tailored products and services to make your wedding personal to you. A more informal atmosphere than traditional wedding fairs, Tying the Nott is a chance to meet suppliers but also have a bit of fun! We have a range of amazing suppliers from corsetry to celebrants, fabric bouquets to retro hair and makeup we have everything you need for your day, however you want to celebrate it. Unconventional Wedding is a blog and directory dedicated to all things creative, quirky, unique and different in wedding land. We are the champions of "your wedding, your way" and we are super proud to share real weddings from our couples which do just that. There is no pink & cream weddings here. We definitely don't do boring. So whether you want a full on Star Wars wedding, to bow-tie wearing Alpacas or fire-eaters. We truly have something for everyone. And if you want something totally out of the box - well we've got your back! So it was a natural choice for us to team up again with the Tying the Nott team after our successful sponsorship last year. Truly the most unique wedding fair in the East Midlands, next Spring it will become the East Midlands' largest alternative wedding fair (and prossibly the UK!) with a wide range of exhibitors to help you create your wedding day. We can't guarantee you won't bust your wedding budget when you come along because of ALL the options we'll have on display from some of the best suppliers in the region. Parking is free at the venue, although this is limited we are only a 5 minute walk from Forest Fields park and ride car park and we are just a 2 minute walk from the The Forest and High School Tram stops if you want to take public transport. The venue is fully accessible so inclusive for everyone!
